            Requiem in D minor\, K.626\n\nThis lovely programme includ
 es a short motet composed very early in Mozart's life (he was 9) and his v
 ery last composition on which he was still working as he lay dying.  Hayd
 n's text seems particularly appropriate for our times though does go on to
  offer hope for the future: "Insane and vain concerns invade our minds\, a
 nd often fill with fury the soul deprived of hope."\n\nDo note that Nichol
 as O'Neill will be talking about the composition of the Requiem in a 30-mi
 nute pre-concert talk at 18:30.  There is no charge for attending this ta
 lk.\n\nThe three accompanied choral pieces will be performed with organ.\n
