Open Singing Workshop with Linda Glenn

Rydes Hill School, Aldershot Road, Guildford.

Cost, £10 payable on arrival.

Do bring your friends along - some previous singing experience would be useful but
sight-reading ability is not required. Refreshments will be provided. There is the option to book in advance for the afternoon a 1-to-1, 30-minute singing lesson with Linda,
£20 payable directly to Linda on the day.

We are delighted to welcome new members.

As well as our concerts, we sing at weddings and other fee paying and/or charitable concerts. Our programme also includes regular choir training events as well as social activities and choir weekends away.

We rehearse on Sunday evenings at Rydes Hill School, Guildford. Rehearsal time is very concentrated in 6 or 7 practices plus the concert day, so singers must attend all rehearsals and be prepared to put in additional time at home for note learning. 

All choir members must be able to read music and entry is on completion of a successful audition with the Musical Director. Why not audition us - come to one of our rehearsals and meet the choir.

Bursary places

We are committed to maintaining and developing a love of choral singing and choral music across all generations and bursary places are available for talented young singers who wish to develop their choral experience and abilities. Through this scheme we aim to provide an opportunity from which young singers will benefit and through which a new generation can come to truly value the choral experience.
